IM OFFICIALLY IN MY LAST MONTH ON THE RACE.

I’m spending my last days on the race in Middelburg, South Africa. We are partnering with Pastor Jan at Cross Generation Church. From the moment we got here we have been welcomed like family, it has been a sweet reminder of home.

This past week we have been meeting with people who belong to the church, we visited a high school where the youth group leader is a school counselor. We visited an orphanage where babies are brought after being left in garbage cans or in the streets. That day really opened our eyes to a big problem here in South Africa. It was one of my best days in ministry, being able to cuddle babes all day, it was so relaxing. We got to be involved in the three services the church holds on Sunday, we drank lots of coffee and tea.

This week we are heading over to a neighboring town to work with pastors who just planted a new church. Not sure what this week has ahead but we are excited!

Pray for my transition home, all my worldly adventures are coming to a close for now but I know the Lord has something awesome ahead. I’ll be back on the 20th!! I’m spending a week in New York then I’ll be back on the West Coast on the 28th!
