From Europe to Africa:
It began Monday, August 28th
9am: we walked to the metro.
Rode on the train until we got to the airport
Checked our bags
Went through security/customs
6pm: Boarded our flight to Qatar
9pm: Landed in Qatar
10pm: Stayed at a hotel for a few hours, just enough time to eat and shower
August 29th
12am: Back to the airport
2am: Boarded our flight to Johannesburg
10am: Landed in Johannesburg
6pm: Took the train to the bus station
7pm: Boarded our bus to Bulawayo
August 30th
130am: Arrived at Zimbabwe boarder; Got off the bus to get stamped out of South Africa.
2am: Got back on bus to go to station to get into Zimbabwe
230am: waited to get visas and to get stamped in to Zimbabwe (it was 50 degrees outside NOT what any of us expected in Africa)
4am: got to wait on the bus for our visas
430am: Got off the bus to take our luggage off, only to put it all back on 5 min later..
530am: got back on the bus (almost to Bulawayo)
10am: arrived in Bulawayo!!!
50 hours of travel… Africa has been incredible!! I want the days to slow down!
