Today I turn 24 in Albania, here’s some things I’ve learned over my 23 years of life.
1. The PNW is the best place to live, it has the best coffee and the best views.
2. God never stops pursuing you.
3. Life with Him is adventurous and fun.
4. Laughter is the best medicine.
5. You cannot remain hopeless once you’ve seen the beauty of life with Jesus: full of wonder, hope, beauty and awe
6. Everyone needs those college years, the years of being careless and reckless, just to get it out of your system.
7. You can start over.
8. If God sent you to it, He will see you through it.
9. I didn’t know what true love was until I let Jesus into my heart.
10. Heartbreak is apart of life.
11. You don’t have to live your life according to the worlds definition of success.
12. You’ll never be happy constantly chasing after the next best thing because then nothing will satisfy you.
13. Always walk in freedom.
14. View yourself the way God does, beautifully and fearfully made.
15. To live a good life you need to have a healthy balance between work and rest.
16. Chase after your dreams, no matter how crazy they might seem.
17. God always keeps his promises.
18. Cats make the best pets, they do love you deep deep down.
19. Slow down and live in the moment.
20. I have a voice.
21. I will never stop loving cheese.
22. Gods love for people is unending and never changes.
23. Living a life surrendered to God is undeniably the best decision I’ve made in my life.
