It’s real. Demon possession and/or demon attachment. Manifestations and convulsions from demonic presence…they are all real.
Today was our first church service here in Tanzania. We weren’t sure what to expect. All I can say, in a quick summary was that I wanted to cry the entire time. Tears of joy of course. My heart felt at home when teh choir began to sing and when the women and men began to dance. It was party at church for Jesus!!! THe girls on my team and myself jumped in to dance with the women right away. There was so much joy exploding from my heart! I felt like a dream of mne was actually coming true!
At the end of the service, Pastor began to pray for freedom for a woman who was possessed by a demon. I have grown up around this in my parents ministry for the past few years. Or, at least grew up around teh conversation of demon possession adn attachments. However, I have not actually seem someone possessed and being delivered. According to Pastor, at least one person per church service is delivered from demon possessin. It is a typical thing for them.
I have seen people being delivered from dmons on Tv before and I honestly thought it was insane, crazy and all for show (let’s be honest for some people ti is a show, but not for all). So because of that a part of me never fully believed it was authentic when people began manifesting demns. I trust my parents, but, I never saw it with my own eyes…until today!
As Pastor prayed for God to set this woman free from teh demon that was holding onto her, she began to convulse on the floor. Eight people surrounded her. From afar, where I was sitting, it looked like church members were ulling her. As I watched from the sdielines, I felt God tellin gme to go adn hold this woman in my arms while she was manifesting to bring God’s peace to her spirit and for the demon to be released. I also wanted to pray out of curiousity to see how authentic the convulsions were.
Let me tell you…It was real! Before I knew it, I was on the floor fighting on behalf of this woman. The church members weren’t pulling HER…they were being pulled BY HER. We prayed freedom and for the blood of Jesus to reign over her.
Through the process of praying for freedom I have never been so disgusted with the enemy before. I could literally see the demon manifesting through her facial expressions. Nothing freaking, I just could tell there was a internal fight going on. It’s nothing like the movie the Exorcist if that makes you feel better haha!
The power of God won and she was released! AMEN!! A peace washed over her like a river. Her countenance changed because of Christ’s blood and victory.
All of the Glory goes to God! Halleluiah!!
It’s real…I experienced it first hand. It wasn’t scary, freaky or anything like the movies. But, there was definitely an internal battle. Thing is, this doesn’t just happen in Africa…it happens everywhere. I just happened to experience it here. Wow, God is awesome isn’t he?! He is the King of deliverance!!
