Natural Disaster
I need you like a hurricane
A natural disaster flowing through my veins
Send your mighty tidal waves through my life
Crash over me…Restart my heart
Tear down my walls
Wreck my mind like a hail storm wrecks still bodies of water
Thunder crashing
Wind blowing uncontrollably
May our holy weather-change dictate the necessary transformation in my life
I need you like a burning flame
Let your internal heat melt off all my impurities of heart, soul and mind
I am only yours
Let your holy natural disaster reshape my life to align with yours
I welcome the hurricane, the wildfire, the flood, in my life
Wreck me oh God

But, the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.”
So this quick poem derived from this scripture this morning and a song. I just thought it was a beautiful depiction of my heart right now. There is so much the Lord is doing and I need to to wreck me so I may unlearn what I need to in order to relearn what he is teaching me. I humbly submit to the Lord. It is hard, awesome, fun and challenging. But, we all know natural disasters bring life. So, I call down destruction over the things of the enemy and the things that need to fall off in order for the Lord to do his work in me!! Amen.
