Kenya is:

A Father Nation

       An Island of Peace

              Gifted To Raise Up Leaders

                      A Springboard for Revival

                             A Refuge Nation

                                     A Missionary Nation

Today was our first Sunday Church Service at our Kenyan home
church: Deliverance Church Southlands. Our Pastor, Pastor Joseph spoke during
the first service, then the second service a missionary from Uganda named
Christopher Ofoirwoth spoke.

During the second service, Joseph wanted me to come up and
speak a little bit and then introduce our team. I had done this during the
first service, so I was asking the Lord what he wanted me to say for the second
service.

God put it on my heart to tell the congregation this: It is
crucial to speak life into people. It is pertinent that we tell people what God
is saying about them. It is necessary to love each other. Most people are
emotionally and spiritually starving because they lack love. Love is: “patient, love is kind. It does
not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not
easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but
rejoices with the truth. It always
protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres (1 Corinthians
13:1-7).)

My desire, and I would venture to say our desire in being on the World Race is to wake up the
nations to the power of the Holy Spirit, to love on the nations, to take time
to understand who they are and then in seeking the Lord’s voice prophecy to
them who they will be according to God’s will.

I believe that God is calling us to WAKE UP churches, to
WAKE UP the body of Christ, to WAKE UP non-believers and help usher them into
their God-given authoritiy and destiny. I believe that we help wake up the
nations through three main ways: Love all people no matter where they are at in
life, listen to what GOD says about them, then speak out who God says they are.

Love. Listen. Speak.

With all this on my heart to say…I actually wasn’t able to
say any of it
. As I go on stage with my team to speak briefly, the Lord shut my
mouth. All I could muster out was to say “We are only here for a short time. We
are your family and you are ours. Let’s live that way… I might have said
another sentence but that was about it. I wondered what happened and why I
didn’t say anything else. I wasn’t nervous. I wasn’t shy. Those that know me
know that I love to talk! Haha. I even was given a second chance to say
something but nothing came out.

I quickly realized why that was. As Pastor Christopher, a
missionary from Uganda came up to speak, he spoke the exact thing the Lord put
on my heart above! AMEN!

He spoke about being a people of intercession. A people who
seek the will of God and then speak it out.  He said, “Go and blow the trumpet of the Lord! Rise up the
Church and prepare communities for the great day of the Lord… Inquire the heart
of God as missionaries and intercessors.

We don’t need any more churches to be built unless there are
none existing yet. What we need to do is WAKE UP those that are in the church,
lead them to a place where they can hear the heart of God and then have them
speak that over people. Christopher also said, “stop praying for the problem
and start praying for redemption. AMEN!!!!!!! We know the problems of this
world, it’s time to rise up and do something about.

Feel the rhythm of God, hear his voice, then act and speak
accordingly. This is why I am on The World Race. This is my heart for the
nations.

Love. Listen. Speak. Respond to the rhythm of God and not of
Man.

Again, we say, Kenya is:

A Father Nation

An Island of Peace

Gifted To Raise Up Leaders

A Springboard for Revival

A Refuge Nation

A Missionary Nation

What is God saying about YOU? Uganda? Tanzania? Thailand?
Cambodia? Guatemala? Nicaragua?

Rise up intercessor! God is speaking and he needs YOU to
listen and respond.

Halleluiah!!!

p.s. Mom, I laughed when I received your most recent email. Looks like the Lord is teaching us both, at the same time, about the heart of an intercessor! Praise God how he keeps us connected from California to Kenya!
