Quick update on my health! Many of you know that Africa left me the wonderful gift of Typhoid, an amoeba and gastritis! As far as I am aware the Typhoid and amoeba are all better. I am still fighting for healing over the gastritis though. I have cut out things like caffeine (I miss coffee), chocolate, spicy foods and some breaded things to try to help my stomach heal. It’s been about a month now and I am still experiencing some pain, especially when I eat starchy foods.
I am sure two deeps tissue massages didn’t help the healing process of my gastritis haha. Oops!
Anyway, I bring this to you because our God is a God who heals!!! I know I can keep going into the doctor and getting more medicine (taken two rounds already), but God has the power to heal me and wants to heal me! I am confident in that.
Here’s what I know: The enemy has come to steal, kill and destroy. He wants to distract, cause upset, anxiety, fear and lack of trust and faith in God. But, God has been teaching me a lot about trusting him and not fearing or being anxious about things such as illness. The enemy doesn’t want to see us be victorious, but our God is standing there rooting us on, waiting for us to get it. He’s waiting for us to understand that we are a child of the King and we are already victorious!
Psalm 63:3 – “Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you!”
So pray for me to get this. I know with my mind 100% that God heals. But sometimes I have a hard time accepting it fully with my heart even with the healing doesn’t come right away. I know that God is more than able to heal me and that he will.
Join me in praying for this healing. I am honestly just sick of my body not being healthy. I am ready for it to be back to normal again!
