As I prep for the race, I’m finding that it is all based on teamwork:
First and foremost, God and I are a team. In all reality though, God is doing all of the heavy lifting here. I’m relying on Him for all of this to happen! Crazy! My trust and all of His divinity = one unstoppable duo.
Second, He has blessed me with an amazing squad of 50+ other people to share this adventure with! We get to spend nine months together in three countries (Thailand, South Africa, and Nicaragua) serving, loving, and growing in and with the communities we come in contact with.
Third, I am once again blessed to have all of my friends and family from home supporting me on my trip. It’s not going to be easy, but having so many wonderful people praying and helping me raise money to make the race happen already makes me so happy, thank you!
There are just about four and a half more months until I leave for Thailand, but before I get that far, my first deadline is coming up in just over a month!
On May 22, I need to have raised $6,000 folks. Now if you take a zero off the end of that, I’m just over $600 into my fundraising!
If you feel called to supporting me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you to those of you who already have!
