Everyday we witness awkward. Awkward situations, awkward feelings, awkward people and awkward objects. Awkwardness looks different every time it’s witnessed. It can bring with it a host of many emotions, some welcomed and others not. You may witness a socially awkward person while out eating with friends. You may witness a situation on a public bus that made you feel awkward. Or you may be ask to hold and learn something that you have never done before that is awkward at the beginning. Each one of these can leave you with emotions like laughter, frightened, angry, or confused. But no matter how awkward presents it self to you, it will only leave a negative impression if you don’t address awkward. Never leave awkward with the opportunity to be awkward for a second time. If you talk to the person who might be socially awkward or keep learning on how to use that awkward object then eventually it will no longer be awkward. Our past no matter how awkward or not is there to help us be a better us, as long as we don’t avoid awkward.
Until Next Time.
