1. When taking a taxi and there is still seats free in the taxi don’t be surprised when you stop to pick up more people. (Namibia)
2. Ministry won’t all ways look like the stereotype of what you might think that ministry is, but the smallest things mean the world to someone.
3. Dust chicken and Pap (pronounced pop) is the best. Got our from a stand along the road. (Swaziland)
4. If you aren’t staying by the ocean or water, you will be wishing for rain, just so it can cool down. It gets hot here. Sometimes there a breeze, that’s nice.
5. If you are asked “how many cows are you worth ?” They are asking because they want to marry you.
6. The best way to travel around Africa, long distance, is by bus. It kinda expensive, but it got good movies if the sound works. (Intercape Bus)
7. Tap water is good to drink (South Africa and Swaziland)

Can’t think of any more new ones. Some of the things I learned in Asia can go with Africa too. Like numbers 3, 6, and 8.

9. Hand washing is faster, hang drying is longer. (It usually rains on days you want to wash)
10. You can make rice many different ways.
11. When you get chicken you get it all, bones included.
