I’m excited to see what God will add to this non-exhaustive
list. I feel so privileged to be God’s hands and feet around the world. I want my supporters (both financial
and prayer) to know I could not do this without you. Every time you pray for my
ministry or make a donation YOU are loving people around the world, YOU are
feeding the hungry, YOU are sharing the Good News. Do you understand that? You are not just helping me do this
work; you are doing it through your prayers and support. It is being done because you have sacrificed your time and money to
make sure that God’s love and hope reaches the nations.
You did not just
read a cool story on a blog and walk away with a smile or even a tear; you were
moved to action. You realized that it was not something for “someone else” to
take care of. You prayerfully accepted God’s challenge to open yourself to
loving people you will never meet, by praying for their needs and sending
someone to share God’s message with them. That
makes you a missionary in my eyes.

It is not too late to make a sacrifice to further God’s
Kingdom. I am still in need of your prayers and support. To finish the World
Race I still need about $2,000. There are also many other ways to reach people
around the world who need education, food, clean water, lifesaving medication
or vaccines. What would our world be like if we all were the “someone else”
that we often think will be the one to donate or to pray. What if each one of
us were to search our hearts and ask God what change in the world we are
passionate about. If you have something you would like to somehow be a part of
but do not know how to get involved, I’d love to help make the connections.
Leave a comment or send me an email and I will do what I can to connect you
with the right people or organizations.

My favorite quote (not from the Bible) says, “The smallest
act of kindness is better than the grandest of intentions.” I do not always
live by this, but I am trying to. I have learned that it is more meaningful to
pull someone aside and tell them how much they mean to you, than to have
elaborate plans, which are fabulous in theory, but usually never happen. In the same way, I’d like to challenge
you to not worry about being extravagant, but to act. Pray. Donate. Make a difference, no matter how small.
