I have made it safely to the Philippines. As our plane descended
and I saw my first glimpse of the green and light brown land, I was overwhelmed
with the feeling that God had great plans for us here in the Philippines and
that this was always a part of His plan.
I arrived at our debrief location, Kids International
Ministries, on Saturday. I wake up every morning praising God for my bed, sheet,
pillow and FAN! I feel so blessed. I have mango for breakfast every morning and
there is an endless supply of children to hug just outside the gate. I am in heaven!
I am not yet sure what my ministry will be this month, but I do know that I
will be staying here, about an hour away from Manila and that my whole squad (7
teams) along with Mark and Kyla (my squad leaders) will be here as well. I am
so excited and filled with His joy!
