Getting everything I ever
wanted looks nothing like I ever expected!
This past week has been a WHIRLWIND! …Between training camp,
making plans for Haiti, my teammates coming back to Gainesville, some team
changes, sending off my teammates to Kenya, and a BIG CHANGE IN PLANS!
I will now be leaving
for Kenya as soon as possible, after my week in Haiti and a visit home to
say goodbye. Please keep me in your prayers as I go through this (unexpected)
transition. I am excited to be stepping off the plane onto Kenyan soil in less
than a month! I’m excited to begin the ministry the Lord has called me to
earlier than expected. I know God has His hand in all this and I trust that His
timing is perfect.
Please pray that I will process these changes, let go of my previous
expectations, make the most of the time I have here and leave well. Also, please pray for safety and good
health, both in Haiti and in the move to Kenya.
My “to-do� list that I planned to complete over the next 3
months, will now be crammed into a matter of weeks with a 10-day trip to Haiti
in there too. Please pray that I do not become overwhelmed or stressed by this.
I also need to do some fundraising in order to get on the field. If you were waiting to donate until I was
