Here I am, sitting at the JFK airport, waiting for my last
flight before returning home and I find myself “happy to be sad once again. It
doesn’t seem like 11 months ago when I sat in the Minneapolis airport and wrote
my first blog after leaving my family and now I am writing my last blog before
we reunite. I’m returning to Minnesota a new person. The past 11 months have
been full of life changes that will continue to impact me for many years to
come.

A few of the changes that I’d like to bring home include:

1.     Freedom
from the prison of my past.

2.     Freedom
from living in constant fear.

3.     Confidence
in who God says I am.

4.     Openness
to dreaming BIG Kingdom Dreams and striving toward them.

5.     Speaking
the truth in love.

6.     Boldness!

These are my favorite
souvenirs
from this trip.
These are the things I want to bring home and show others. They really
are the best type of souvenirs, since they do not collect dust and they do not
add any weight to my pack that I’ve been lugging around for the past 11 months!
(I’m looking forward to a more “hands freeâ€ life).

My prayer is that I will not only have the boldness and
confidence to carryon these changes, but that I will step out into even more
freedom and positive changes.
