I’m making good progress with fund raising, however I am
still $5,505 away from being fully funded (if you include my monthly
donations). God has been doing some amazing things as I trust more fully in Him
and depend on Him to provide.

As people send me donations I fill out the proper paperwork
and mail it in to Adventures In Missions. I had two checks with the paperwork done in the addressed and stamped
envelope ready to put in the mailbox. As I picked it up to lick it shut, I couldn’t
do it. I had this overwhelming feeling that there needed to be one more check
in the envelope. I knew I didn’t
have any other checks to put in and thought to myself, “that’s weird”. I
picked-up the envelope again and was overwhelmed by the feeling again. I
thought, “This is ridiculous! If I wait for the mail to come and do get this
supposed check I need to wait for, then it will be too late to mail them
today.” I decided to pray about it and this feeling that I needed to wait for a
$100 check before I sent the letter overwhelmed me. So I basically told God, “I
don’t understand. This makes no sense to me, but I’ll wait a few hours and see
what happens! You’ve never failed me yet; I trust You.” I set the envelope next
to me and began to work on other things, not being able to get “the check” out
of my mind.
An hour or more passed and I was beginning to think that I
was out of my mind. What was I
expecting? A check to float down from the sky like manna? I went to the garage
to find a Christmas gift I had gotten while I was in Africa and as I was
looking for it my Aunt pulled into the driveway. She knocked and rang the
doorbell, but I could not hear her from the garage. She knows the code to come
through the garage and decided to come in that way. I was surprised to see her
since I had already said goodbye to her the night before. She explained that she had been at my
Cousin’s house and shared more about what I am doing this coming year and the
dentist miracle that I had recently experienced. My Cousin was so moved that she wanted to write a check
right then and there. My Aunt could not remember whom the check should be made
out to, so she gave it to my Aunt to bring to me. My mouth drops open! I say, “Are you serious?!?” She hands
me the check and I see that it is made out for $100. The exact amount God had prophesied
to me. I look at the clock and there is still time to do the paperwork and get
it in the mailbox before the mailman comes.  I shared with my Aunt this amazing miracle, with a sense of
excited anticipation for the next miracle God has planned.
