When you hear the word “commission� you likely think of the
money given a sales person. This Sunday however, was a very different type of
commissioning. This morning my home church, Excelsior Covenant, had a beautiful
commissioning service for me. I
was able to briefly share what the Lord has called me to for these next two
years and I publically committed to the Lord’s service. My church family then
prayed over me as I knelt at the front of the sanctuary. It is so encouraging
to know that I have the prayers and support of so many back here in Minnesota.
On Friday, April 1st I will begin my road trip and
a week from today I will arrive in Gainesville, Georgia!
Fundraising Update: THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all who have
given generously. I have met my April 1st deadline! I feel so
blessed to not be down to the last minute and able to focus on other things
during this transition. I am still in need of about $1,100 before June 1st.
