a number of things that I should update you on. After the month in the
Philippines my team changed. Liz, my leader became one of three new squad
leaders and Chris became our team leader. We also switched around a little. The
video does a good job of introducing everyone.
After our month in Cambodia, we traveled to Thailand. We
have been staying in a town called Ubon Ratchatani, in the eastern part. Here
we are doing a wide variety of ministries that include, but are not limited to,
prayer walks, handing out New Testaments, Preaching at churches, putting on
skits, leading worship, encouraging Christian youth, praying over churches and
ministries, visiting hospitals and mental hospitals, teaching seminars, and the
list goes on.
One of my favorite moments this past week was when we went
to a bus station to hand out New Testaments and pray. I gave a New Testament to
a grandmother who was waiting for her ride. Her granddaughter grabbed the book
out of her hands and began to read it. It was so encouraging to see the girl’s
eagerness.
