Hey friends!
Just wanted to share with you this short video that my small group leader Shawnte made for me that tells a little more about my thoughts on the Race and why I am going. ๐Ÿ™‚ Some of you may have already seen it by now, but just wanted a chance to share that and give you some fundraising updates! (don't worry… a real blog will be coming soon :)) Please feel free to share this video wherever- with friends, bible studies, small groups, churches etc- I know it has been shown a few places already and I would be forever greatful if you help me to get the word out as much as possible!

FUNDRAISING UPDATES:
I am currently over 2/3 of the way there! About $5,000 to go! I have no words to describe how I am humbled by all of your generosity and the goodness of God! Seriously. It is unreal. He is truly Jehovah Jireh!! If you like to have story time sometime…let me know. I would love to tell you the specifics of how He has so miraculously provided. I would just love to meet with you period!

Please click the "Support Me!" link on the left to learn how you can be a part of this journey. Every donation, big or small, makes a HUGE difference.

Some more cool, fun ways to be a part of this thing:

Come out to Morning Glory Bakery & Coffee shop in Watkinsville (in the shopping center where La Parilla is located) NEXT FRIDAY NIGHT, May 4th at 7 p.m. for a sweet time of fellowship, coffee, cupcakes and to be absolutely dazzled by the musical stylings of Shawnte Sandle and Jessica Turner! Be there!! Bring your friends! A percentage of everything bought that night will go support me and Meagan on the World Race!

Second of all, I have tons of Threads of Hope bracelets! let me know if you are interested.

Below are paintings that my dear mom painted- all profit is going towards my trip! She is very talented and her art is usually sold in Downtown Woodstock..so this is the real deal. Just sayin. ๐Ÿ™‚

Flowers- 2 canvases- 12×36 each $200 SOLD!!!

Tornado- canvas 24×36- $125

Koi- 16×20 already framed as shown- $150

One last fun update before you go:
This past weekend I had the absolutely amazing privilege and blessing to spend time with 7 of my future teammates who I will be traveling around the world with! They roadtripped all the way from Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Miami to stay in good ol' Athens for the weekend. We were able to get to know one another, laugh like crazy, and spend time in worship together. Let me just tell you…these people are each so unique and incredible. And crazy…in the best way possible. ๐Ÿ™‚ Take my word for it. The Holy Spirit was at work as we all worshipped together in my tiny living room- and I know that it was only a glimpse of what is to come. I have never felt so at home with a group of people so quickly (and so sad when they were gone! really…still having withdrawals). I cannot WAIT to meet the rest of my team at training camp in May! If you are praying for me in this journey, please, please be praying for team unity- I have a feeling Satan is going to do everything he can to try to tear apart this group!!
