Now, let's talk about who we are prayer walking for. Unreached People Groups in Laos and Thailand. As Followers of Christ we are commanded to make Disciples of ALL NATIONS! Am I right?

Acts 1:8 says, "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Matthew 28:18-20 says, "All authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make Disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

"The phrase "of all nations’ is found throughout Scripture, but what does it actually mean? When Scripture speaks of nations, is it referring to the modern day nations-states that appear on our geo-political maps of the world? The New Testament Greek phrase is "panta ta ethne". The word ethne is very similar to our English word ethnic. So, another way to say this is that the gospel will be preached to all the ethnic peoples or people groups of the world. Ultimately, we see this Biblical reality fulfilled in Revelation 7:9-10. As we take a look at the current status of this task we see that all people are equally lost without Jesus, but all people do not have equal access to the message of saving faith through Jesus." Laos….
Population:
6,436,093

People Groups: 147 (91% unreached)

91% of 6.5 MILLION people don't know about Jesus in Laos! Look at a map and see how small Laos is…. Not very big is it? Look at China just above Laos…. pretty big right? China has a HUGE influence on Laos! Not good! There is a DESPERATE NEED for prayer warriors in the 10-40 window and an even greater NEED for workers!

Some of you might not be familier with the term 10-40 window so let me share with you what that is. In the picture below shows you the window…. the window is where the MOST unreached people are in the world! MILLIONS! and they NEED YOU!

Prayer Challenge – the remarkable growth of the church is still dwarfed by the size of the task remaining. Most peoples remain unreached , and the gospel has not easily crossed ethnic barriers. Buddhism and tribal religions are often blended together and prevail throughout; compare 5,000 temples to the 250 churche buildings. Pray for the gospel light to shine throughout Laos and to draw many to Christ.
