Most of you are wondering what my team and I did while we were in Laos. For a week we went from village to village prayer walking for these unreached people groups that were right before our eyes. Each day we would go to about six (give or take) villages. We ate $1 bowls of noodles and stayed in "hostels." If you've never really been part of a prayer walk before let me explain it. Prayer Walking is intercessory prayer that involves while praying in the location of the prayer journey.
Prayer not only changes people, situations and even the course of History but also those who pray! It's dangerous for the enemy but also 'dangerous' for you! The purpose in spending a week in solid prayer WILL change their lives FOREVER! I believe that we underestimate the POWER of prayer! We are paving the way, preparing the soil for a HARVEST like you've NEVER seen before!!! We already got to see the FRUIT of it! When a village has a few believers…. that is a VICTORY! That is an ANSWER to a prayer! When a Buddist Temple is BOARDER UP!! That my friends is a HUGE ANSWER to a POWER PRAYER! We serve a POWERFUL God and none of this is hard for Him! All He asks us to do is ASK IT, RECEIVE IT, and PREACH IT!!
The enemy doesn't like it when we do this! and he WILL attack! We experienced it for ourselves, almost all of us getting sick & raining so hard we couldn't get to some of the villages. BUT we still have the VICTORY and our prayers were HEARD and they will be ANSWERED! It's worth the FIGHT! We're WARRIORS for Christ and it's time to fight the WAR against the evil in this world!
Why should we pray for the Unreached People of this World?
- Prayer obeys Jesus' command to ask the Lord to send workers to gather the Harvest
- Prayer brings us into God's presence, which changes us.
- Prayer reveals to us God's plan
- Prayer invites God's participation and presence
- Prayer removes hindrances to the Gospel
- Prayer prepares the hearts of the Unbelievers to hear the Gospel
- Prayer releases the resources necessary to accomplish the task
- Prayer insures protection
- Prayer releases spiritual power
- Prayer exercises divine authority to change situations and people
- Prayer is the BATTLE!
- Prayer maintains VICTORY!!
Join me as we pray for the unreached people of this world! Pray for the workers to go out! Pray that hearts are BROKEN for the people of this world! PRAYER is POWERFUL! PRAYERS are ANSWERED!
