Vision Nicaragua is…..
the ministry that we are currently working with. My team (Beautiful Feet) is here with two other teams (Freedom & Transformation Station) Our ministry this month was suppose to be building a house for one of the cooks and replacing the roof on the other cook's house. Well…… our plans got changed a little bit (never know on the Race haha) BUT we found out REAL QUICK that God had a better plan for us!!!! While waiting for the supplies to come in for the two homes we went to the local community that Vision Nica works with….called Bethel (of course it is….gotta love those bushes) In Bethel we all kinda do our own thing like….
Wade plays soccer with the boys loving on them and teaching them how to be good sports.
Kayla has a family that she's adopted and bonded with.
Jaime has her two sisters that she loves on and hangs out with.
Liz, Jake and I have these three families that live next to each other that we play kickball and stickball with! The Moms even join in with us! We have so much fun with them! They fill our cup every time we go there! 🙂
AND Man do we get DIRTY!!!!
This is what Ministry looks! LOVING THEM, GETTING DIRTY WITH THEM, PLAYING SOCCER & KICKBALL WITH THEM, & SHOWING THEM THAT WE AREN'T ANY BETTER THAN THEM! AND JESUS LOVES THEM!!!!!!
We finally got the supplies in for the two houses…… BUT you'll have to read my next blog to find out what happened with that ; )
