We've made it to Kenya!!!
We've only been here 5 days and this is what we've seen/experienced
Land in Nairobi, Kenya (the capitol) 7 am. All of our bags made it – Check
Wait for our rides – Check
Two buses/vans pick us up – Check
3 minutes outside of the airport we see Giraffes – Check
Hour drive, stuck in traffic, finally to our hostel – Check
Beautiful sky, mountains and green grass – Check
Bunk beds to crash on – Check
Water stops working – Check
Power goes out – Check
Lunch time – Check
Walk through mud and trash to get to the bus station that'll take us to town – Check
Find wifi but it costs $10, no thank you – Check
Starts to pour down rain – Check
Walk back through the mud and trash in the rain – Check
Flip flops break – Check
Freezing cold, need a hoodie – Check
Still no water – Check
Room floods – Check
Walk 30 minutes for wifi – Check
Let Dad & Mom, and home know I'm alive – Check
Go to bed early – Check
Get up early and walk 30 minutes for an American Breakfast – Check
Get to the bus station – Check
Have a 3 hour bus ride to Nakuru – Check
See the most beautiful landscape in the world – Check
Move into our 2 bedroom house – Check
Break the toilet – Check
Unpack – Check
Find out that we are only in this house one night, so repack – Check
Watch Friends – Check
Pick out which character we all are – Check
Worship together – Check
Move into the Pastor's house – Check
Go to the Church – Check
Find out that we are going to do some physical labor – Check
Machete the trees and hoe the land – Check
Play with the children – Check
6 year old Dillion becomes my new best friend – Check
