When you introduce yourself to people what do you generally say or identify yourself with? Are you the one who's dating or married to so and so? Are you the great football player or dancer? Are you guitarist or singer of a band? Are you a member of a specific church building? Are you the doctor or lawyer? Are you the sibling of so and so? Are you the father/mother of so and so? Are you the kid of so and so? Are you the outgoing or shy one? Are you the Christian or atheist? Are you the short or tall one? Are you the old or young one? Are those the things you find identifying who you are? So many of us define ourselves with worldly terms….and that's when the nasty and dark world of comparison comes into play. When you start seeing yourself as the tall, outgoing, guitarist who went to Purdue and got an engineering degree who's brother is a star swimmer and who's parents are rich and you're a young person who is still single attending a baptist church down the road!

As wanted, desired, created in His own image, specially made, His sons and daughters, Beautiful, cherished and LOVED! I am a beautiful daughter of the King of Kings created specially made in His own image and He LOVES ME!! He feels the same way about YOU!!!
