How'd you spend your Valentine's Day? Well this is how we spent ours 🙂
Renee, Rachel, Taralah and I planned a whole Valentines Day celebration! We had a special guest staying with us, Ryan Banko one of our wonderful squad leaders! So… That made 4 women and 4 men! Perfect I know! Which meant we could have dates haha (all in fun and games of course)
We decided to send the men out on a journey to know more of what it means to be a man of God. We sent them off with several verses to get them started. And at the end of it they got to find out their dates. They were gone for quite some time which was great for us because we were preparing a special secret dinner. Ryan & Taralah, Nathaniel & Renee, Mickey & Rachel, and David & I were the couples for the evening.
We got our dresses on and asked the men to come into the kitchen to join us. David brought me flowers! Isn't that sweet? We started the nice with dinner, dessert and great conversation. After that David got out his guitar and we had worship which was so wonderful! Praising and worshiping our Father & thanking Him for the love that He continues to pour out on us! Keeping in the mode of worship we moved to our "stations" part of the evening. We had four different stations that couples would jump from, one) washing his feet, two) encouragement & prophesying over each other, three) prayer over each other and four) painting/drawing of what the Lord was showing us about His love. It was such an intimate time with Daddy and each other. It's so refreshing to be surrounded by Godly Men who don't have alternative motives & who love you as their sisters in Christ. They've taught us so much about honoring us as women of God and them as men of God!
After that we played our own version of the Newlywed Game, asking and answering questions about each other. Lol so much fun! David and I came in 2nd place!
It really was the BEST Valentines Day EVER!
