Once upon a time there was a girl who lived in a nice small town. She had a great family and some of the best friends around. She lived a pretty normal life but yet not so normal. This girl knew that her future held something bigger than she could ever imagine. God blessed this girl with an amazing opportunity to apply for this really cool trip around the world where she would be able to share God’s love with the people she met and would be stretched and strengthened in her relationship with Christ. Along with this, this trip offered one of the coolest adventures of a lifetime. She would be able to team up with a squad of many other young adults and even further still be put into a smaller team that would soon become her family during this incredible adventure.
Upon being accepted, the girl knew that she would have to raise a lot of money and getting everything for the trip would be pretty expensive. She would also have to sacrifice time away from her family and friends because well she would be halfway around the world. However, she knew that God would be her guide and provide everything in His timing.
As the weeks and months went by there was something that was slowly creepy up inside the life of this girl. At first it was nothing more than just a little tiny thought but as time went on this occasional thought became heavier and heavier until it weighed down the life of the girl.
The burden was doubt.
It was so great that she just couldn’t ignore it anymore and finally broke. Realizing that what she thought she had overcome long ago had made itself back into her life.
The worrying came back full force. She knew that God could provide but would He? She knew that God will always be there for her but would she feel His presence during the hard times before and during the trip?
While sitting in her room one night, after praying to God about all that was weighing down on her heart, she felt that she had the answer.
God could provide and will provide.
She realized that sometimes His timing isn’t the timing she wants to go by. However, He will be there when times get tough and has planned her life so perfectly that nothing is out of His control. God calls her His child, along with all who have given their life to Christ, and He will never abandon her. No matter how many times she doubts, He’ll always be there to reassure her that He is in control and that will never change.

So whether you’re struggling with doubt, fear, or feeling worth, there’s nothing we can do to make God love us less. Never forget that. God’s love will never change for you. No matter what you do, He’ll never leave you. And that’s something God has to remind me of continuously.
