"Jesus loves the little children
All the children of the world
Red and yellow, black and white
They are precious in his sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world."

I can honestly say that while I've always loved kids,
I've never loved them like this.
The Lord is truly revealing his heart for them to me.
A couple weeks ago, we were in a village
with tons of little kids that came to the meeting.
I felt the Lord saying that I needed to talk to them.
So I asked him what I was supposed to say.
He pointed me to Mark 10:13-16.
"People were beinging the little children to Jesus
to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them.
When Jesus saw this, he was indignant.
He said to them,
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them,
for the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.
I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God
like a little child will never enter it.
And he took the children in his arms,
put hands on them and blessed them."
In all of our wisdom, we think that the little children
have nothing to teach us.
Wrong.
Here's what I love about kids:
You tell them a story, and they believe it.
So when you tell a child that Jesus heals people,
they believe it.
When you tell a child that Jesus can raise people from the dead,
they don't have a second thought.
Oh, and one more thing.
When you tell them that they have Holy Spirit living in them
and that they have authority in Jesus name to do
the same things Jesus did, they say "ok,"
then pick up and go.
Why do we push the little children away?
Why do we water down the Word of God
and say things like "oh, they're too young?
They won't understand."
That makes me want to say "well, you're too immature,
so YOU don't understand."
Jesus believed in the little children.
Why don't we?
