One of my biggest struggles for getting ready for the race is mentally preparing myself. I have all my materials, most of the money, a lot of prayers and support from friends and family but the one thing I haven’t 100% been able to do is prepare my mind. I constantly wonder how training camp will be and then how it will be on the field. My emotions and mind are filled with glee and wonder.
I believe the real reason why I haven’t been able to prepare my mind is because for The World Race you can’t. You have to live it in order to fully understand it and be prepared for what it holds next.
So instead of trying to prepare my mind for every exciting thing that will happen during this world wind experience I will live by Coach Taylor’s motto, “clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose.”
From here on out I will have clear eyes to fully see the world as God wishes me to. I will have a full heart to spread the love of our father through the nations. And with both of those, as well as big papa rooting for me and my team, we can’t lose. We will see the world as our great father wishes, and we will spread his love to all, and people will be changed!
Until my next post,
Love and blessings,
Court!
