Just wanted to give you all a quick update on where we are
and what we are doing:

Map of our location in Xai Xai, Mozambique this month

We are currently in Xai Xai (Pronounced “Shy Shy”),
Mozambique which is the capital of the Gaza providence/state. It is right on
the coast and is large enough to have about 3 gas stations and a KFC (which has
ice cream for 20 metacals or about $0.80)!

Our living room and kitchen

This month we are living in a house that usually costs $50 a
night per person but God has really provided and we only have to pay $5 a night
per person. It has been such a blessing to get to sleep in a real bed and have
a roof over our heads after sleeping in a tent all last month. And with a
Tropical Storm last week and a Cyclone hitting us today, we are really thankful
for the shelter God has provided.

Cory preaching at a local church

Our ministry this month will mainly be manual labor. The
first week and a half we have been working on scraping and painting our
contacts’ house. Cory also helped do some plumbing for a sink and he preached
at a local church. Now that we have finished painting the house, we are helping
plant and maintain the Bible College’s farm. The produce is either sold to help
support the ministry or given to those in need. During our last week or so here
we will be helping to get the Bible College ready for the students to return.

Our contacts, Jason and Rachel, both are teachers at the
Bible College here in Xai Xai. They have been here for 7 years and have a four
year old son named Tristen and a one year old daughter named Josie. Both children are
really cute!

We can’t wait to see what else God has in store for us this month! Thank you again for all of your support and prayers! We miss you all!
