Our dear friend,
We finally know what we are doing with the next year of our lives! Through much prayer and seeking, God has opened the door for us to go on The World Race (www.theworldrace.org) in July of this year. The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries around the world.
On The World Race, we will serve in partnership with the local community’s churches and ministries to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, work on building and service projects, and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations. Leaving in early July, we will be ministering in: Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Eastern Europe (two countries TBD), South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. All of these places have diverse needs and we are excited for the opportunity to help meet those needs!
At the beginning of April we started our blog: coryandjessiegerman.theworldrace.org. We will continue updating this blog weekly over the next year to keep you updated with videos, pictures, and stories of how God is using your prayers and support to reach the nations.
We must raise $32,000 in pledges and donations by July 1st in order to go on The World Race, which covers all of our expenses on the field including insurance, travel, lodging, food, and ministry supplies. Your financial support can be given as a one-time gift or as monthly donations of as little as $25.00 a month, wherein you choose the amount and beginning and end dates. We have enclosed a response card and pre-addressed envelope, inviting you to share in this global ministry. If you would prefer to send a check, please make it payable to “Adventures In Missions” with “Jessie and Cory German” in the Memo. The response card will provide AIM with the information necessary to send you a receipt for your donation. If you would prefer to make your donation online, you may do so by visiting our blog site at: coryandjessiegerman.theworldrace.org. Just click the “Support Us!” link in the upper left side of the page and complete your donation as instructed.
