Since today’s the day I send out most of my support letters, I thought it would be cool to give y’all more information about exactly what I’ll be doing on the World Race, and exactly what the World Race is in general.

For some general information and a cool video intro to what the World Race is all about, you can check out their About page.

To learn more about the specific countries I’ll be visiting and when I’ll be there, please check out my Route, which is July #4. We’ll be traveling to Swaziland, Botswana, South Africa, Estonia, Latvia, Thailand, Cambodia, India, Nepal, and then ending in Guatemala and Nicaragua. None of these locations are set in stone though, and my route could still change.

If you would like to learn more about the organization that founded the World Race and is making this whole thing possible, you can check out Adventures in Missions’ website

The best way to understand more about what I’ll be doing day to day on the Race is to check out blogs of other racers currently in the field. Every location and every day is different. Some days might be spent working with local churches and the community, helping with construction, VBS, teaching English, spending time with orphans, or even visiting the sick or homeless. Other days might run a bit slower, like cooking for your squad or spending a day in prayer.  The World Race has a FAQ’s page that helps to answer the questions of what I’ll be seeing day to day.

Thank you guys so much for your time spent reading this and for all of your prayers and support. I seriously couldn’t do this without each and every one of you. As you can see, there’s now a status bar at the top of my blog, showing my goal and how close I am to it! If you would like to see that bar move a little closer to my goal, please check out the SUPPORT ME tab on the side of this page. Every cent really helps, and what’s super cool is that you can actually set up a monthly donation system (like giving $10 a month automatically) and you can choose your amount and end date and everything.

Once again, thank you guys so much!
