Hey everyone! I hope you all had a very merry Christmas and a wonderful New Years! This is just a quick update to let you all know that
A) I’m totally 100% for sure fully funded! Thank you all so much, and for any monthly supporters, you can go to adventures.org, sign into your donor profile, and cancel your monthly payments, or simply call donor relations (number can be found on the adventures.org page) and have them walk you through the steps of canceling all monthly payments. Thank you all so much!
B) I’m safely in Botswana! We had a 15 hour bus ride from Jeffreys Bay to Johannesburg, where we met up with the rest of the squad and took a 7 hour bus to Gaberone, the capital of Botswana. We’re staying at a really nice Backpackers in a suburb of the capital for New Years. We had a great time last night, worshipping around a campfire, and hanging out with everyone late into the night to bring in the new year. I missed the fireworks and the ball drop, but I got to ring in the new year 7 hours ahead of most of my family! And finally,
C) this month my team will be working with Campus Crusade for Christ in Botswana. We will mostly be in Gaberone, but we will also be heading on a retreat with some of the youth, which from the sound of it could put us in tents in the northern part of Botswana for the first 10 days of our stay. While we’re not 100% sure what our day to day ministry will look like, I’m really excited to be working with older kids and seeing the rural and urban areas of Botswana.
