You probably don’t know me, but I would love to change that. My name is Corrie Lundberg and I’m writing today because of a mission placed on my heart to create positive, lasting impact and change in this world. I have come so far in the past two years and been taken from broken to redeemed, lost to loved. Surrendered, but never abandoned by the love of my Lord Jesus Christ.
I’m reaching out today for help. I cannot do this without you and your support. Whether it is through prayer, sharing on social media and live networks or financial donations, this journey cannot come to fruition without you. In order to leave, fully funded in January 2016, I need to raise $17,562. This money will cover all of my field expenses for the 11 month journey – everything from travel from country to country to different visas, food and lodging.
After struggling to find my place in what seems to be a chaotic, ruthless and broken world, I found a home in service. Sales, volunteer work, humanitarian work – but my biggest journey is in front of me in the form of an 11 month long mission trip serving the 10/40 region of the world.
The World Race is an 11 month long Christian mission trip to 11 countries around the world. Something that sets it apart from other missions work is that it’s also an intensive discipleship program designed to push my generation to grow and to launch us into moving in this world to further the Kingdom of God. Through the World Race, my team and I will be serving in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work at orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking and bring the restorative hope of our Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
Though I will face many challenges – physically, mentally and spiritually – I know, without a shadow of a doubt, this is where God wants me. As I take this leap and put my total trust in Him, I’d like to ask for your prayerful consideration in helping me move forward in my journey to follow God’s will in my life. By joining me in my efforts and donating $100 a month or another amount that is feasible for you, you’re helping me further the Kingdom in the manner I’ve been called.
