Returning Home

Last summer I had the opportunity to spend 6 weeks in the country of South Africa, the most beautiful country with the most beautiful people.

         

        

                       

Cape Town, specifically the township of Masiphumelele, became my home. The people we worked with became family and the kids forever have a piece of my heart. I went in with expectations and the Lord completely blew those away. The Lord taught me many things during this time, but that will be a later post.
This post is to say: I’M GOING BACK TO SOUTH AFRICA!!
After months of questions, reflecting, praying, and listening there has been an answer: The World Race. The world race is a year long mission trip that includes 11 countries in 11 months. and what happens to be my first country?? none other than South Africa! #PTL

I am beyond excited to be returning to my home of South Africa, but I am equally excited to experience these other countries and God’s people there. I cannot wait to bring joy and the love of Christ to them, and I cannot wait to see what the Lord does in and through my team. It is going to be an incredible journey!
