Allow me to introduce you to my family that I’ve been doing this thing called life with for the past 6 months. Papa definitely went above and beyond with this team. Coming into the race, I had no idea what my team would look like. I didn’t know if I would have an all girls team or a co-ed team but I was up for either. To be honest, I’ve never really been a big fan of guys my age because in my experience they have not really been the best up until this point. God placed each of these seven chosen men and women of God on my team to teach, grow, and push me in seven different ways. I recognize it more and more as the months slid by us.
Luke Troyanek, our fearless team leader who stays on top of it literally day and night. Luke is aways the first person to stop everything and check on you.He consistently serves the team so well. He is constantly seeking the Lord and asking for bigger and better things from Him. Luke is not afraid to call you higher no matter what. He is a true evangelist striving to see souls saved and he will definitely change the world one day.
Grace Venning, oh man, she is always thinking outside the box. Grace is always the first to step up to the plate no matter what is actually on the plate. She loves without compromise and will always go out of her way to help or serve. Grace can be friends with anyone or anything. She makes you feel loved and seen. Her laugh will make anyone smile. Grace would do or give anything to anyone without reserve. She reflects the simple love and grace of Jesus.
Emma Florin, other wise known as Tedford. Emma is the definition of real and raw even from a leadership point. She has redeemed leadership for me in more ways then one. She’s not afraid to say what needs to be said even if she has to tell somebody they smell bad, again. She can make anything fun, the more random the better. She loves recklessly without compromise. Emma is bold and she always fights for us. Emma shows the side of Jesus that is your best friend.
Cole Wierman, three words, bold, creative, and real. Cole is the first on the dance floor and the last to leave. He is always real, raw, and honest. Cole is bold for the Lord and what He has done in his life. He is bold in his creativity and the dude is a killer photographer too. Cole has this gift where he can make anything fun and he’s not afraid to be different or stand out. He has a beautiful, steadfast faith and love for the Father and everyone around him.
Annie Kitzman, simple but so bold for the kingdom. She so easy to be around and freaking fun. Annie has all these unforeseen talents she just randomly pulls out. She is by far one of the koolest friends I have. Annie loves and serves hard. She strives to look more and more like Jesus daily. Annie has a huge heart for kids and her friends. Annie could care less what everyone is doing, she’s just going to do her.
Noah Rogers, if he can’t do it he’ll soon figure it out. Noah can and will be friends with everyone. Noah helps everyone he possibly can. He’s always down to go explore and jump off of stuff. #DontTellDeb The man is good at everything he try’s. Oh, and he has a tennis and volleyball scholarship to two different colleges and he has never planned organized volleyball in his life. He doesn’t conform to his environment he just is who who is take is or leave it. Noah proves how fun and easy Jesus can be.
Moriah Bergstrom, last but definitely no where near least. This girl right here has a hunger and drive for the word and the kingdom like I’ve never seen before. She serves and loves our team selflessly. She loves everyone with her whole heart, no reserves. Moriah is constantly chasing after Jesus and everything He has for her and sharing it with anyone and everyone she comes in contact with. She always makes you feel seen, heard, and loved. Mo reflects the constant pursuit from God’s endless love for us.
Blessed and highly favored to say the least. Shout out to all these people’s peeps for sharing all these amazing souls with me. Oh, and thanks Papa for creating them in the first place! Pray for blessings and favor on these stellar people. Here’s a picture of us when we lived on a rice farm in Thailand if you can’t already tell.
