Since my last blog God has taught me that he is God. God has revealed his true power and beauty. God has shown me what it’s like to feel broken for someone. God has shown me what it’s like to be broken myself and that the benefits of pushing through and giving every situation to him in order for him to rebuild us into the person he wants us to be are unimaginable. That it takes full surrender in every aspect of your life. Even if you don’t know what’s going on.

I have to say it’s one of the most beautiful things to be apart of and to see happen. To see him emptying out more of my old flesh and substituting it for more and more of him. And to know that he’s got me in the palm of his hands through every situation. There is truly beauty in the brokenness and seeing that thorns go into making the rose.

Also to see that at the end of it all it’s not even about us. We are blessed to be able to say that we have been hand picked by God to do work for the kingdom, his kingdom, the kingdom of heaven. He chose us. Non-perfect human beings with all sorts of problems and sins not knowing what was going to happen. He chooses to not even look at our sin, our sin no longer matters, it has been put to death on the cross, it is not our job to look back on them or to let them weigh us down. For that to happen is not of God. He then tells us Go and make disciples. Go tell others of what I have done for you that they may get to know me. He calls us to step out in faith not knowing but believing that he will put in work. Trusting that when you do step out in faith that no matter what happens God is going to work through us in whatever way he chooses.

Once you do that and you put trust in God and you step forth and let the man upstairs do his thing. He will work wonders in your life. You will begin to rejoice in the hard times knowing that great things will come of it, knowing that God is going to grow you ; and you will be able to rejoice in the good times knowing that all is well and God is still with you.
