whoa.

Reality is starting to settle in. July 1st is right around the corner, and it’s almost time to go. I find myself wanting to say, “No, that can’t be true! I have more time!”

I find myself constantly asking, Am I ready? What else do I need? There’s so much racing through my head and so much reaching out for my attention!

It’s funny how instantly Christians can click and how fast the Lord can begin to speak. The Lord brought a timely word last week through an unlikely source. I knew of this woman and had finally met her.

I had been thinking about how in the world do I get myself ready for such a trip? This friend reminded me of one thing: You know you’re supposed to go. You worry about hearing and discerning the voice of God.  It is true.

God is up to BIG things this year. I just sense it, and it’s not just for me. There is a sudden shifting that’s happening in the kingdom of God. Do you see it? Can you hear it? God is moving people into places and beginning to unfold His plan.

So many times we get anxious, and we want God to move. We want God to act on our behalf. One thing I have learned: do not rush God because it takes time for a plant to take root. If God is not working in the way we expect, could it possibly be because He’s busy preparing something else? Be patient. Let God work in His timing.

I’m exciting because I’m finally on God’s playing field, ready to do things His way. It’s so awesome! I do not need to worry about what I’m going to say or what my message will be. You see, it’s not my message. It’s God’s story, told His way. It’s His plan for my life.

I’ve asked God this week, what His plans are for me during WR. He’s give me a couple scriptures to bring across the way to my beloved family. I’m excited for them to take root in my heart, but it’s not quite time to share that yet:

“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” (Matthew 6:6)
