Phew. Well that is done, and I yet moved another step forward through this door God has opened for me. I have moved back in with my parents to save money for this trip. I am not lucky, but blessed, to have such a family. They have already done their duty to raise me, teach me, and prepare me for adulthood. They have been successful. I am able to live on my own and live independently.
They do, however, choose to support me and encourage me to pursue this direction God is calling me. I am so THANKFUL to have parents who are want me to follow me dreams, even if it’s not what they had imagined. This is my dream. When I was graduating from college, my “far off” dream was to be like Barnabas, to travel to the fellow believers and build them up. I wanted to pray with them, laugh with them, cry with them, and live life with them. I figured this would be something to pursue later in life, after I got married, had a family, and had “a living.” But no. God had another plan, and WHO WOULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED THAT THE DREAM WAS CLOSER THAN THAT?! To imagine that God has already begun to move peoples hearts to give and give generously?!?
So the places I am to go on Route 2?
- Albania
- Botswana
- Bulgaria
- China
- India
- Mongolia
- Nepal
- Romania
- Turkey
- South Africa
- Swaziland
There it is. The places I will go. The people I will meet. Oh the people! May God continue to prepare our hearts for when we meet! Like Moses said to God, “I will not go without You!”
The time is now. Today is the Lord’s favor. EVERYDAY His mercies are new. Everyday the Lord desires to use us and move within us. Everyday He is worthy to be praised. Everyday He is trustworthy and worth obeying.
I am following my dreams. I am currently a guest in my parents’ home. I pray the Lord blesses them because they support me most financially by allowing me to save my monthly rent.
I love them.
