18 Things I Learned in 2018

Here are 18 things I learned in 2018! 

1. some friends are forever others aren’t 
2. God is faithful  and will reveal himself to you, you just have to patiently endure through the period of doubt
3. We will never have enough faith, but that’s why we can depend on Jesus for more! 
4. Insecurities are selfish and prideful.
5. We are shameless and pure because of Jesus 
6. Always be clear with people about your intentions for a relationship in the very beginning.
7. Disney world with your besties is AMAZING
8. Senioritis is REAL and the worst 
9. A positive attitude changes every situation around and makes life 37x better! 
10. Jesus speaks to all of us, just in different ways. But he does speak!!
11. Wifi, insta, and other social media’s are such an idol in people’s lives and become a huge distraction
12. The best part of any day is spending time with Jesus, especially reading his word.
13. A community of Christ followers is so important to have (and is tons of fun) 
14. Spiritual warfare is real and sad. 
15. Tears aren’t the only sign that your heart is broken 
16. I learned how to intentionally make relationships that are Christ honoring 
17. African time is the best time: As Americans we push too much into one day, it’s better to slow down and enjoy each moment without thinking of the next: be present 
18. Being unashamed about our faith doesn’t mean being loud about it
