My heart has a hidden prayer.

My heart has a hiding prayer for the lives broken by the griefs and pains of their lives and the afflictions thrown upon them by the wrongs of their forefathers.

That they would find the courage to pursue the awakening that is taking place within their hearts and see it through. That the chains that bind them and hold them down from experiencing utter delight in life my be broken an be no longer passed down from generation to generation.

My Heart has a hidden prayer for the soul that is trying to drown out the pains of their life through a world of short lived joys.

That their desires and cravings would be for spiritual truths, life truths, realness, healing and restoration.

My heart has a hidden prayer for you lost and lonely child, abandoned and broken. Left helpless to the wolves and snakes of this world. You who have been dealt a hand of cards that you must play out. My prayer for you is this.

Know there is a purpose for your suffering. A purpose that you may be used in mighty ways by the hand of your creator. For it is to the broken and tried souls of this world that the Father makes himself known to.

For…

“The Friend, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send at my request, will make everything plain to you. He will remind you of all the things I have told you. I’m leaving you well and whole. That’s my parting gift to you. Peace. I don’t leave you the way you’re used to being left – feeling abandoned, bereft. So don’t be upset. Don’t be distraught.”

-John 14:25-27

“the time is coming-it has, in fact, come – when what you’re called will not matter and where you go to worship will not matter.

Its who you are and the way you live that count before God. your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself – Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.”

-John 4:23-24

“Look to this day,

For it is life,

The very life of life.

In its brief course lie all

The realities and verities of existence,

The bliss of growth,

The splendor of action,

The glory of power-

For yesterday is but a dream,

And tomorrow is only a vision,

But today, well lived,

Makes every yesterday a dream of happiness

And every tomorrow a vision of hope.

Look well, therefore, to this day.”
