God is doing a beautiful thing in Team Less. Six months ago, I never would have predicted God would have taken six strangers…grow us, stretch us, knit our hearts together, and use each of us to push each other towards Jesus. We have so much more room for growth, but as I look back on the past six months…I am truly amazed by what He has done. He has used this team to reveal to me my strengths, my weaknesses, my quirks, my pet peeves, my personality, my deep need for FUN J, my hurts, my grudges, my gifts…the list goes on.
Every morning when we wake up and pray together, I know that no matter what happens during the day, that I have a team of five amazing people who love God, love me, and will be with me at the close of the day. That’s community.
Thank you, Lord. Thank you for Lindsey and her compassionate heart. Thank you for Jackie, for the joy you have given her and the way it radiates from her. Thank you for Sarah and the way she reaches out, listens, and loves. Thank you for Danny, for the way he is devoted to you and draws us closer to you. And thank you for Kyle, for all the amazing things you are doing in his life and for giving him such a heart for You and Your world. You are amazing God and I see you in each of my team-mates. Amen.
