so i have to start by saying sorry for not writing, I guess there wasn’t a
great reason why I haven’t, but I will try and be better in the future.
So
I can tell you all about launch although it was a while ago. The idea
behind it was not so much to teach us specific skills but rather to
fill us with the Holy Spirit and let us lose equiped with that, more than anything trying
to make it really sink in that we haven’t been given a spirit of fear
but rather of love, power and sound mind. At first, I personally hated
it. I felt so restrained, that I had come to Ireland to actually do
something and here we were in meetings so often. However, by the end I
started realizing how important they were. For me personally
nothing really changed, maybe a bit more passion, but there wasn’t some
whole new approach I took to evangelism or ministry. There weren’t any
new gifts of the spirit poured out on me, I wondered at the time
whether it was okay but at the end of launch a man prayed over me about
walking in the gifts and strengths I do have and also walking in power,
upon further deliberation I saw how our team is supposed to be a body.
A lot of the teaching was about God giving spiritual gifts to everyone
almost to the point were we are all complete in and of ourselves, but I
think it’s more important to realize what our part of the body is.
