Today we are on the move once again… but this time, we are heading into our FINAL COUNTRY! I never thought month 11 would get here. I am excited for what is ahead but still in shock that we are coming to an end. Colin and I appreciate all of your love and support as we have been away.
As it is our last day in Moldova, I thought it would be fitting to finally fill y’all in on what we have been up to. We have been living and serving in Petropavlovca, Moldova… a tiny, Russian-speaking, farming community with the most precious children. We have helped with manual labor (painting, cleaning, chopping wood.. you name it!), attended Catholic mass daily, and played with darling kiddos while also teaching them English. It was a wonderful month to live village life, learn a new reverence for the Lord through mass, connect with my team in one of our final months, and truly experience the love of God through every tiny giggle that came out of the adorable village kids.
I will miss the pace of village life. I will miss getting chased by cows, roosters, and dogs while going on a run. I will miss sweet Padre Daniel and how much he cared for us. I will miss it all!
Thanks for the love, Moldova!
The house we lived in all month was right next to the church we attended.
Precious Daniel!
