Today, as I began my day at Redefined Coffee Shop in Grapevine, Tx. I caught up with my dude David(He is a WR Alumni 11n11), the man who inched the Worldrace towards me. Great start to the morning with a V60 pour over, origin – Ethiopia. After he dipped out for work, I stayed. Sent out a prayer and flipped my bible open to Isaiah 1 and studied Isaiah 1-17. This SPOKE to me. I imagine I am not the only one that seeks the lord out of events such as conferences, meetings, or bible studies with your amigos. Usually, when I attend these events I rely on them to make me feel the power of Christ. Although, if I am the only one that seeks the Lord through events it’s ok. Since today, I learned something a little different.
I learned: I need to be intentional.
Relying on the community to make me feel like I am closer to God isn’t what God wants for US.
God wants us individually to rely on him to fulfill ourselves.
God is and will always be our FRIEND.
No matter the baggage you claim to carry. Drop it off in his hands.

Just like talking to a good friend. Talk with truth, love, emotions and be REAL.
Use your own lingo he’ll understand.
