Landing in Europe I was not spiritually ready to face what was up next.
We arrived in Greece for an 8-hour layover, during this time I decided to relax and kick back with a cup of Joe. Double Greek Coffee, was my choice of selection. It was a little bit strange, the grounds remained in the cup. I was quick to hop the gun and downed a mouthful of grounds. Realizing, this cup of Greek coffee a relative to Turkish coffee. Which is meant for social gatherings, slow sipping while the grounds settle. A usual cup can last about 90 minutes depending on the meeting. Anyways, back to the blog.
I took it easy for the full 8 hours, sipping a cup of Greek Coffee, viewing an Art gallery, journaling outside in the neat 65-degree weather on a nice sunny day, pulling together my coins and moola to purchase a Greek Salad. When I sat down to snack on the salad, I noticed Anxiety was back. I don’t know Why? or How? Something triggered it. My old fight is back around, during this time I prayed, told a teammate, and could barely eat my salad in peace.
I was able to finish my salad in a 1-hour sitting. I dug deep into the word and revisited my old Blog My Story Series: Anxiety. To see if I could find something like a tool to get me out of the current situation. I read the prayer at the bottom and felt a little bit relieved. I plugged in my earbuds and escaped, but I escaped in the Lord’s presence I could feel him working. The plane ride to Albania was “OK”, by saying that I don’t fear planes at all but I could feel spiritual warfare the whole time. When we landed in Albania, Anxiety was waiting for me as soon as I walked into the airport. There, I felt weightless, feelingless, and unable to bring myself back to reality. I could hear every conversation, see every color, and feel nothing all at once. The first country Colombia this happened, I was healed from it all the way up until now the last country.
This is on me, I didn’t go into the battle with protection. Although I have God on my side, I never called on him before the enemy took his first strike. God, is healing me from this blow. It’s a big lesson I learned, invite the Lord into your day. Make this a daily routine, you never know when the enemy will strike. Put on your Armor of God and pick up your Cross daily!
Currently taking on spiritual warfare, it’s dark here in Tirana, Albania.
Disregard these attacks, HE is always one step ahead of Evil.
This is a testimony to what the Lord is doing in my Life, but also a lesson I can learn from.
This is my story.
My ole buddy from Arkansas Uni sent this
Kyle C. “Faith is one step ahead of fear.”
