It’s been a good minute since I have written a blog for all of you guys and I apologize. Life just moves so fast sometimes you kind of forget what should really be at the top of your priorities list. so here’s a little update on how the fundraising and my walk has been going, as well as just my day to day life.
I have been selling t-shirts for the past few weeks and that has brought in about $600.00 dollars for my trip which is exciting. The shirts are so rad and if you haven’t bought one yet you totally should there so cool. you can email me at [email protected] if you would like one. I also was finally able to speak to my congregation last Sunday about the trip which was a huge relief considering Ryan and I had been trying to set that up for about seven months. Joto’s pizza wants to do a one night proceeds donation to Ryan and I, we’re unsure of the date at the moment but I will be sure to post on here as well as all my social medias once it is all set up.
It’s a huge relief to finally see the donations falling into place and actually start looking like I’m going to make it on this trip. I am very thankful for all the support I am receiving from family and friends as well as the amazing people at Faith Community Church. It’ll be such a blessing to come home to this church and share all the beautiful stories and experiences God planned out for me. I’d also like to say a big thank you to everyone who has already donated and would also like to remind everyone that prayer is very much appreciated. it really goes a long way and helps in ways most of us just don’t exactly understand. I just know it truly works as long as you show a little faith in it.
I’ll be sure to post on here a heck of a lot more often as I approach my first checkpoint of $5,000 in mid June.
In Christ, Cole
