Every once in a while you look up and realize you are right where God wants you because of the whats happening. Today we went to visit an unsung contact who’s name we got through another contact who we met at a missions conference that just so happened to be going on the first week we were in country. (fingerprint 1). After visiting the contact we decided it would be a good fit for World Race and got there information to submit. All was going well and it felt like just another meeting. On the way back to our hostel my teammate and i decided to stop at a place that looked like it might be another opportunity for a contact. So without any phone calls or introductions we went in. We were quickly introduced to the director of the ministry and the founder. We would spend the next 2 hours with this man as he explained his heart for God and the ministry he had been working at for the past 19 years. He’s spent his life feeding the homeless and teaching them the life skills they need to get off the street. Towards the end of our meeting he stated. “i don’t always talk to everyone who walks in the door, only when the spirit prompts me to. And He prompted me to speak with you.” (fingerprint 2). At that moment i also happened to look to my left at the table and noticed it had snoopy printed on the surface. which for those who don’t know me that well is a big deal. I love peanuts! (fingerprint 3).
All this is to say, keep your eyes and ears open. God is speaking.
