Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.
I have always admired this verse, but recently it has played a larger role in my life. As I prepare for launch I am surrounded by everything that I am saying goodbye to. when turning to God this verse continues to resonate in my mind and remind me to seek out these things and dwell on them. So here are a couple of things that inspire me to keep on the path even when the path gets hard.
It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.

Though this path may be tough at times, it is by knowing that He is the one who guides me that I carry on. And so long as this is the case, I will never never never quit.
