Howdy,

My name is Cole Bruner and here are a few things about me.

I was born in Michigan, but moved to the great state of Texas at the ripe old age of 3.

I’m a Fighting Texas Aggie class of 2012, and have been working as a project manager for a general contractor for the past two years while going to school at night and on weekends to become a paramedic.

I currently am building Chipotles all over Texas and riding the ambulance on the weekends.

My calling in life is to become a Firefighter/Paramedic, and at the heart of that calling is my passion to be able to help people in their time of greatest need. For many people the thought of having to show up on scene to someone who finds themselves living out their greatest nightmare is a crippling thought. However, i can think of no greater honor than to be able to answer the call in that moment.

This is the same calling that is at the heart of my desire to go on the World Race. To be able to make the sacrifice of luxury and comfort to go on a journey to help people who are without God is an honor and a privilege, and i am proud to be able to answer Gods call to take the journey.

Some other things about me:

Things i love – Jesus Christ, my family, friends, Texas A&M, Aggie Bonfire, Mission work, Gladiator, Chocolate, Adventures, Geocatching, the band NEEDTOBREATHE, helping those in need, Chivalry.

Things i’m not a fan of – Texas University, Men who act like girls, the phrase “i’ve been in this industry x amount of years” (just cause your old dosent make you right).

And thats all i can think of for now, so this will conclude my first ever blog. Stay tuned…..
