do not know God. A Country of free worship, but mixed beliefs. A land where
division amongst the church takes higher priority than the purpose of church. A
place of tradition, a people of emptiness, and a misunderstanding of the God
who loves and adores who they are without all the practices.
We stand out as different because we smile.
History, culture and meaningless leave the men and women with a sense of
seriousness that takes away everyday pleasures and joys. They smile little, and
laugh even less. We come to pave the way for them, to experience true freedom,
joy and life in Christ Jesus.
We do this through offering English classes,
bible studies and building relationships with students on the college campus.
We are the first Americans most have ever seen, therefor we draw a lot of
attention.
which we visited and worked at. Up to 10 men can stay at one time, were they
are fed, provided lodging and given biblical teaching. We cleared a field at a
recently purchased building to expand the rehab center. It is situated in a
small remote village, with no indoor plumbing, or gas heating. The men are
thriving in community living and growing in their relationship with the Lord.
It is incredible to see the picture of redemption lived out through these men.
