She is eleven and as pretty as you can imagine.
Her braids float down her back, as she stands tall and thin, it appears as
though she is older than she actually is. Fortunate to have a woman that calls
her, ‘Daughter’ and loves her as her own, she has family to cling to. She is
not alone. She is well loved. She is a student and values her learning time.
Her joy is in the Lord and she takes rest in His promises for her future. She
has many promising opportunities for her as she continues to grow in her faith
and understanding of God’s Word. One day she will make an incredible mother, as
she practices by being a helpful, loving sister. She will not follow in her
mothers footsteps…
A young mother finds herself working on the
streets unable to care for her infant and frustrated by the inconveinence, she
abandons her infant and returns back to work, in the back of a shop. She is
only thirteen.
The woman is no longer a girl anymore and still
finds herself trapped in the industry that once gave her the title of
motherhood. She is certain of an early death as AIDS grips this Country. Having
signed away her entitlement to her little girl, she has forfieted her rights to
being called, ‘mom.’ This no longer needs to be a battle, as the alternative
for her daughter is far brighter than anything she could offer her. Her
daughter is safe, loved and has a family of her own. Today this battle ends, as
adoption papers are delivered to her adoptive mom’s hands. Please pray with us
for the completion of the paperwork and the delivery of them.
